Mr. Horman is of counsel to Horman Nichols. He puts his 40 plus years of legal experience to work for his clients by assisting them with a wide range of real estate and business law needs.
Mr. Horman was a co-founder of the firm Shoemaker, Horman & Clapp, where he served as a partner until his retirement.
Mr. Horman co-founded Horman Nichols in 2016. His practice areas include estate planning, family law, civil litigation, collections and real estate law. In addition to representing individual and corporate clients, Mr. Horman is a certified mediator and is often referred cases by the Circuit Court for Frederick County to assist the parties in resolving their disputes.
Mr. Addie joined Horman Nichols in 2018. His practice areas include family law, civil litigation, and serious traffic defense. Mr. Addie graduated from the American University Washington College of Law in 2016. While in law school, he served as a competition volunteer judge for the Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project and the Editor-in-Chief for the Criminal Law Practitioner publication.

Mr. Nichols co-founded Horman Nichols in 2016. His practice consists primarily of litigating and defending general negligence cases, workers' compensation cases, premises liability cases, and trucking cases. Mr. Nichols has been repeatedly recognized by his peers for his ability and professionalism. He has been recognized as a Rising Star in Maryland Super Lawyer magazine in 2012 - 2016.
